In precisely two weeks and two days, my newest little board book, published by Discovery House, will be released. Good News! It’s Easter! is the first title in a brand-new series and I have three copies to give away!
Good News! It’s Easter! celebrates the arrival of spring in all its loveliness. (And who’s not ready for that!)
From the tulip who was once lost in darkness to the leaping froggy who used to be a teeny, tiny tadpole, this book features butterflies and bunnies and buds and best of all… Jesus, the ultimate example of new life.

I love those sunrise services LeAnn! My husband is a pastor and at one of those services we were at a nature center. When we started singing, all the geese started honking loudly, just as if they were joining in. It was wonderful!

Easter for me is a renewal and reminder that Jesus has a relationship with each of us by living, loving and saving for us and through us. Each passing year offers a stronger growth in our Faith. Just like the froggy who bravely navigates the river banks and the leaf dancing in the tree we are all beautifully and wonderfully made to share unique gifts with the world.
Glenys, you are sharing your gift with the world as you radiate peace and love in your book writing for young children. May God’s pure light shine through the ink you place on page after page of your writing. Praise God for your courage and growth as you continue to rejoice in his name, just like the froggy, leaf and so many other creations showcased in your book!

I love watching my girls with their cousins at Easter…we get together with my (Hispanic) husband’s brother who lives in town & after the kids hunt the eggs, they smash the confetti eggs on each others (and the parents) heads

I think I love Easter even more than Christmas…the thought that the tomb (and the world) was unable to hide/control/contain our Risen Jesus Christ is amazing! Such liberation and joy! Easter is a time of rebirth and knowing spring will be coming soon. Thank you for following your dream of writing, Glenys, and not giving up. We have a lot of family time on Easter weekend since we go “dark” on good Friday and try not to use anything electrical except the fridge/freezer and maybe the stove. I hope it will be a time my kids look forward to for many years as we focus on His sacrifice and new life together.
